Various investigations lead to arrests across Callaway County including methamphetamine trafficking outside of Holts Summit

CCSO INVESTIGATIONS LEAD TO DRUG TRAFFICKING ARREST NEAR HOLTS SUMMIT, ARREST OF RUNAWAY JUVENILES FROM ILLINOIS NEAR MILLERSBURG, AND FUGITIVE ARREST IN AUXVASSE

(Runaway Juvenile – 14 year old male) of Illinois

On September 16, 2019, at approximately 12:31 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Brandon Labore, 30, of Holts Summit for the felony offenses of Trafficking Drugs and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Labore was arrested as the result of an ongoing drug investigation in the 1400 block of Summit View Drive south of Holts Summit.  Deputies recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and items related to the sale of drugs.  Labore remains in-custody at the Callaway County Jail pending a Court bond setting.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted deputies with the investigation.

On September 15, 2019, at approximately 6:51 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a criminal investigation in the 800 block of Manor Drive in Auxvasse.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Jonathan Swims, 28, of Auxvasse.  Swims was wanted in Audrain County reference a felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (fail to appear) offense.  Swims was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later transferred to the custody of the Audrain County Jail.

On September 13, 2019, at approximately 4:35 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a criminal investigation in the 1600 block of Jade Road near Millersburg.  Deputies were advised two subjects had fled into the nearby woods after committing a property damage offense.  Deputies, assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, subsequently located the subjects north of County Road 256.  The subjects were identified as two 14 year old runaway juveniles from the State of Illinois.  The juveniles were arrested and subsequently referred to local juvenile authorities for disposition.
