Investigations lead to arrest of Vandalia man for sex crimes and a Fulton man on felony warrants

SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATIONS AND PATROLS NET FELONY ARRESTS FOR DRUG AND SEX CRIMES

Arrested person information:

Timothy Picton, 48, of Fulton

Corey McGlasson, 31, of Vandalia

Narrative:

On October 22, 2019, at approximately 5:43 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation near the intersection of 12th Street and University Avenue in Fulton.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Timothy Picton, 48, of Fulton –  a wanted fugitive in Audrain County.  Picton was wanted reference six felony Audrain County charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest.  Picton was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Picton remains in-custody pending $6,000 cash bond.

On October 22, 2019, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Corey McGlasson, 31, of Vandalia, MO with the felony offenses of Sodomy 1st, Kidnapping 1st, and Domestic Assault 3rd.  The charges are the result of an investigation conducted by Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigators in the Holts Summit area.  Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested McGlasson on October 21, 2019 and he remains in-custody without bond, pending Court bond review.
