Investigations around Holts Summit lead to charges against nine people for burglary / stealing

Narrative: 

As the result of burglary/theft investigations conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office in the Holts Summit area, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney has charged nine (9) individuals with the felony offenses of Burglary and Stealing.

Information as follows:

Joshua Temmen, 28, of Holts Summit, MO has been charged with Burglary 2nd and Felony Stealing.  Temmen remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail on $50,000 cash only bond.

Shaun Reed, 29, of Jefferson City, MO has been charged with Burglary 2nd and Felony Stealing.  Reed was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released after posting bond.

Melissa Bratcher, 23, of Jefferson City, MO has been charged with Burglary 2nd and Felony Stealing.  Bratcher was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released after posting bond.

Laken Stull, 25, of Stover, MO has been charged with Burglary 2nd and Felony Stealing.  Stull was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released after posting bond.

Sierra Edgar, 24, of Linn, MO has been charged with Burglary 2nd and Felony Stealing.  Edgar was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released after posting bond.

Jeremiah Kaullen, 39, of Jefferson City, MO has been charged with Burglary 2nd and Felony Stealing.  Kaullen remains in custody at the Callaway County Jail on $10,000 bond.

James Pace, 38, of Holts Summit, MO has been charged with Burglary 2nd and Felony Stealing.  Pace was issued a summons by the Court for appearance.

Brian Wood, 29, of Linn, MO has been charged with Burglary 2nd and Felony Stealing.  Wood was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released after posting bond.

Brandon Wood, 30, of Gravois Mills, MO has been charged with Burglary 2nd and Felony Stealing. Wood is in custody at the Morgan County Jail regarding local charges there.

The investigations are ongoing and further arrests/charges are possible.

The wide-ranging investigations led into other jurisdictions where deputies attempted to locate suspects and recover stolen property.  Assisting law enforcement agencies included the Cole County Sheriff’s Office, Osage County Sheriff’s Office, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, Moniteau County Sheriff’s Office, Linn Police Department, Holts Summit Police Department, Jefferson City Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Callaway County Sheriff Chism expresses his appreciation to the many agencies that assisted, whereas he points out again that criminals do not stop at city limits or county line signs.  When law enforcement agencies work together while combining and coordinating resources, the community is best served.
