Deputies start off the new year with 11 arrests for various felonies during patrols and investigations

Chastidy Hoover, 32, of Auxvasse, MO

Narrative: 

On January 4, 2021, at approximately 10:42 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of State Road J.  During the course of the investigation; George Day, 45, of Hallsville – a wanted Boone County felon – attempted to barricade himself inside of a recreational vehicle.  Deputies subsequently forced entry into the vehicle and took Day into custody.  Day was transported to the Callaway County Jail and booked/processed for numerous felony Boone County warrants, in addition to Callaway County probable cause offenses.  Day is being held without bond, pending further Court bond review and setting.

On January 5, 2021, at approximately 1:30 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies followed-up on a burglary/stealing investigation in the Williamsburg area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies subsequently arrested Randall Moore, 50, of Fulton, MO for the felony offenses of Burglary and Stealing.  Moore was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

On January 6, 2021, at approximately 11:21 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the Holts Summit area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located and arrested David Wood, 49, of Holts Summit, MO reference a felony Callaway County warrant for Rape and Sodomy.  Wood was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains incarcerated pending bond post.

On January 6, 2021, at approximately 4:10 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 113.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located and arrested Joseph Atterberry reference a felony Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC) warrant for state parole violations.  At the time of arrest, methamphetamine was also seized.  Atterberry was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to the custody of MDOC.

On January 7, 2021, at approximately 3:41 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of the County Road 139.  During the course of the investigations, deputies came into contact with Sierra Beasley, 31, of Mexico, MO.  Beasley was subsequently arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth), transported to the Callaway County Jail for booking/processing, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

On January 8, 2021, at approximately 12:05 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of State Road Z.  During the course of the investigation, deputies came into contact with Betty Belisle, 21, of Williamsburg, MO.  Belisle was wanted reference a Callaway County warrant for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Belisle was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released after posting bond.

On January 9, 2021, at approximately 3:46 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were proactively patrolling the area of State Road HH.  During the course of the patrol, deputies stopped a vehicle reference a traffic violation.  Methamphetamine was discovered.  David Wright, 48, of Olean, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Wright remains in-custody pending bond post.

On January 9, 2021, at approximately 11:36 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 2002.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Sandra Montcalm, 52, of Auxvasse, MO.  Montcalm was wanted reference a Callaway County felony warrant for Unlawful Possession of an Illegal Weapon.  Montcalm was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and remains in custody pending bond post.

On January 9, 2021, at approximately 3:57 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 260.  During the course of the investigation, methamphetamine was located.  Phillip Ward, 45, of Auxvasse, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Additionally, Ward was arrested for Felony Stealing referencing a separate ongoing theft investigation in the Auxvasse area.  Ward was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released after bond post.

On January 10, 2021, at approximately 5:54 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the Fulton area.  During the course of the investigation, felony controlled substances were located.  Thomas Seay, 33, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, in addition to Callaway County warrants for past offenses.  Seay was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released after bond post.

On January 10, 2021, at approximately 8:49 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 271.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Chastidy Hoover, 32, of Auxvasse, MO.  Hoover was wanted reference Callaway County felony warrants for Stealing a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Hoover was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released for Court appearance at the order of the Court.
