Deputies continue to make arrests for theft, drugs and warrants

DEPUTIES CONTINUE TO RACK UP DRUG, THEFT, AND WARRANT ARRESTS DURING RURAL AREA PATROLS

Arrested person information:

Donald Devalle, 34, of Fulton

Clayton Craddock, 35, of Mexico

Roxanne Wheeler, 56, of Millersburg

Blake David, 24, of Fulton

 

Narrative: 

On February 23, 2020, at approximately 9:50 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the 5000 block of County Road 311.  During the course of the investigation, deputies came into contact with Donald Devalle, 34, of Fulton.  Deputies determined Devalle was wanted reference a Callaway County felony warrant for Armed Criminal Action, in addition to assault and trespassing charges.  Upon deputies arresting Devalle, he was found to be in possession of meth related drug paraphernalia.  Devalle was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked/processed accordingly.  Devalle is being held on $4,200 bond.

On February 22, 2020, at approximately 7:25 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit was proactively patrolling County Road 132.  During the patrol, the K9 unit stopped Clayton Craddock, 35, of Mexico for a traffic violation.  The deputy subsequently observed a controlled substance in the vehicle, which Craddock attempted to conceal.  Upon the deputy attempting to take Craddock into custody, he resisted arrest, attempted to flee, and threw the controlled substance into a nearby field.  Craddock was taken to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked/processed for Resisting Arrest, Tampering with Evidence, and drug related offenses.  Craddock later posted a $2,500 bond and was released pending Court appearance.

On February 22, 2020, at approximately 3:17 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling County Road 230.  During the patrol, the deputy stopped Roxanne Wheeler, 56, of Millersburg for a traffic violation.  Wheeler was subsequently found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.  Wheeler was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, in addition to their drug and traffic charges.  Wheeler is being held in the Callaway County Jail pending $4,500 bond posting.

On February 11, 2020, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigated the theft of a vehicle near the State Road J – US Highway 54 interchange just outside the city of New Bloomfield.  On February 20, 2020, a Fulton Police Department officer located the vehicle unoccupied in Fulton.  Further investigation ensued; leading to Callaway County deputies arresting Blake David, 24, of Fulton for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st.  David was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released after posting a $4,500 bond.
