Deputies arrest Fulton fugitive for methamphetamine possession after investigation in Fulton

SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATION IN FULTON LEADS TO ANOTHER METH POSSESSION CHARGE

Arrested person information:

Latasia Cowans, 34, of Fulton

Narrative: 

On January 28, 2020, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Latasia Cowans, 34, of Fulton with the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth).  Cowans is being held in the Callaway County Jail without bond, pending later Court review.

Cowans was arrested by Callaway County deputies during a criminal investigation in the 400 block of Northwest Street in Fulton conducted on January 27, 2020 at approximately 6:10 p.m.  During the investigation, deputies located meth and drug paraphernalia.

At the time of Cowans’ arrest, she was also wanted reference two felony Callaway County warrants – original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Stealing.
