Deputies arrest 13 time convicted felon after stolen vehicle investigation in Fulton

DEPUTIES ARREST 13 TIME CONVICTED FELON FOR POSSESSION OF STOLEN VEHICLE IN FULTON

Arrested person information:  

James Kuciejcik, 36, of Fulton, MO

Narrative:

On January 21, 2020, at approximately 10:57 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was traveling through Fulton.  During the time, the deputy spotted a stolen vehicle in the 900 block of Nichols Street.  The vehicle had been reported stolen in Cole County on January 2, 2020.

The deputy recovered the vehicle and conducted a follow-up investigation.  Subsequently, James Kuciejcik, 36, of Fulton, MO was arrested for felony Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st.  Kuciejcik was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail where he is being held on $4,500 bond.

Kuciejick is currently under the supervision of the Missouri Department of Corrections – Board of Probation and Parole.  According to the state Court’s public access point – www.courts.mo.gov/casenet — Kuciejcik has 13 past felony convictions for offenses including Burglary, Stealing, Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
