Deputies arrest Auxvasse man after investigating stabbing inside Auxvasse

AUXVASSE MAN CHARGED WITH ARMED CRIMINAL ACTION AND FELONY ASSAULT AFTER STABBING INVESTIGATION

Arrested person information:

Nathaniel Kennemore, 20, of Auxvasse

Narrative: 

On October 1, 2019, Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney Christopher Wilson charged Nathaniel Kennemore, 20, of Auxvasse with the felony offenses of Armed Criminal Action and Domestic Assault 2nd.  Callaway County Associate Circuit Judge Sue Crane ordered Kennemore be held in the Callaway County without bond.

The charges are the result of a criminal investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office in Auxvasse on September 30, 2019.  At 4:18 PM on that date, deputies responded to the area of 500 Maple Branch in Auxvasse regarding a disturbance involving weapons.  Deputies confirmed the victim had been stabbed.  Deputies located the identified suspect, Kennemore, on foot in Auxvasse and arrested him.  Kennemore was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

According the Case.net, the state Court’s public access point, Kennemore was convicted of felony assault in Phelps County, MO on July 9, 2018.  Kennemore was sentenced to the Missouri Department of Corrections and later discharged back into the community on June 24, 2019.
