Deputies arrest 10 for various felony offenses between September 1 and September 8

DEPUTIES ARREST 10 FOR FELONY DRUG, THEFT, AND FUGITIVE RELATED OFFENSES

Larry Dotson, 58, of Fulton, MO

Narrative:

On September 8, 2020, at approximately 2:49 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was conducting an investigation in the Fulton area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy located Jerry Friend, 38, of Fulton, MO. Friend was wanted by the Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC) for parole violations. Friend was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and remains in-custody pending transfer to MDOC.

On September 6, 2020, at approximately 7:49 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was conducting an investigation in the Fulton area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy located Judy Simons, 35, of Fulton, MO. Simons was wanted referenced felony warrants issued by the Missouri Department of Corrections and the Callaway County Circuit Court (probation violation). Simons was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later posted bond.

On September 6, 2020, at approximately 1:39 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Fulton Police Department officers conducted an investigation in Fulton. During the course of the investigation, deputies and officers were seeking Clayton Craddock, 35, of Fulton, MO reference several felony warrants. Upon the arrival of deputies and officers to a precise residence, Craddock fled on foot. Sheriff’s Office K9 Iro subsequently tracked Craddock and he was found in a nearby residence where he was arrested. Craddock was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody for numerous felony charges including Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Craddock is also being held reference a Missouri Department of Corrections parole violation warrant.

On September 5, 2020, at approximately 5:55 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a vehicle reference a traffic violation. During the course of the investigation, a Sheriff’s Office K9 unit responded to assist. Subsequently, methamphetamine and other drug related items were located. Marie Dunavant, 33, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Dunavant was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

On September 4, 2020, at approximately 11:13 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the 3000 block of Gold Road in Kingdom City. During the course of the investigation, deputies located James Wolkow, 48, of the State of Illinois. Wolkow was wanted reference a felony State of Illinois warrant for Assault. Wolkow was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail. Wolkow remains in-custody pending extradition to Illinois.

On September 3, 2020, at approximately 7:45 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was conducting proactive patrol in the area of State Road AA in the Holts Summit and Tebbetts area. During the course of the patrol, the deputy located Levi Land, 23, of Holts Summit, MO. Land was subsequently arrested for Felony Stealing reference an ongoing burglary investigation being conducted in the Tebbetts area. Land was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

On September 2, 2020, at approximately 7:21 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a follow-up investigation concerning a felony drug offense at the Green Meadows trailer park. During the course of the investigation; Zackary Ray, 22, of Auxvasse, MO was arrested for Delivery/Manufacture of a Controlled Substance. Ray was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later posted bond.

On September 2, 2020, at approximately 11:32 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the North Jefferson City area (Callaway County). During the course of the patrol, the deputy stopped Brandon James, 34, of Jefferson City, MO for a traffic violation. A Sheriff’s Office K9 unit responded to assist. Subsequently, a large quantity of crack cocaine was located. James was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail. A federal arrest warrant was later issued as a result of the stop and James remains in-custody without bond.

On September 2, 2020, at approximately 11:12 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted an investigation in the Hams Prairie area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy located Kayla Jones, 29, of Jefferson City, MO. Jones was wanted reference a Camden County felony warrant for a stealing related offense. Jones was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail. Jones later posted bond and was released pending Court appearance.

On September 1, 2020, at approximately 8:14 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was traveling the area of State Road F. During the course of the patrol, the deputy spotted Larry Dotson, 58, of Fulton, MO. Dotson was wanted reference a Callaway County felony (failure to appear) warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. The deputy stopped Dotson, arrested him, and transported him to the Callaway County Jail for booking/processing. Dotson later posted bond and was released pending Court appearance.
