Deputies arrest 10 for various felonies during patrol and investigations

FELONY ARRESTS CONTINUE AS THE RESULT OF DEPUTY PATROLS AND INVESTIGATIONS

Elizabeth Erbschloe, 37, of Fulton, MO

Jessie Smith, 29, of Kingdom City, MO

Ryan Ellingboe, 47, of Columbia, MO

Jalen Martin, 19, of Holts Summit, MO

Phillip Martinez, 44, of Montgomery City, MO

Deric Farley, 36, of Portland, MO

 

James Vaughn, 41, of Holts Summit, MO

Laughlin McKinnen, 20, of Fulton, MO

Jade Breshears, 27, of Centralia, MO

Mary Ostrander, 27, of Fulton, MO

 

Narrative: 

On November 20, 2020, at approximately 11:21 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the County Road 121 area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Elizabeth Erbschloe, 37, of Fulton.  Erbschloe was wanted reference Callaway County felony warrants for drug and vehicle tampering offenses.  Erbschloe was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later released after posting bond.

On November 20, 2020, at approximately 3:16 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the State Road M area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Jessie Smith, 29, of Kingdom City, MO.  Smith was wanted reference a Callaway County felony warrant for probation violation (distribution/delivery of drugs charge).  Upon deputies attempting to take Smith into custody, he fled and a foot pursuit ensued.  Smith was ultimately caught, arrested, and transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody.

On November 21, 2020, at approximately 9:13 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the Hatton area.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle reference a traffic violation.  Ryan Ellingboe, 46, of Columbia, MO was identified as a vehicle occupant.  Ellingboe was wanted reference a federal drug warrant.  Ellingboe was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later transferred to custody of the United States Marshals Service.

On November 22, 2020, at approximately 5:06 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted an investigation in the State Road J-DD area.  During the course of the investigation, the deputy located a felony level controlled substance.  Jalen Martin, 19, of Holts Summit, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Martin was later released with summons for Court appearance.

On November 23, 2020, at approximately 4:00 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 147.  During the course of the investigation, the deputy located methamphetamine.  Phillip Martinez, 44, of Montgomery City, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Martinez was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody.

On November 24, 2020, at approximately 3:24 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office was proactively patrolling the Portland area.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy located Deric Farley, 36, of Portland, MO.  Farley was wanted reference a Callaway County felony warrant for failure to appear (property damage).  Farley was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he later posted bond.

On November 25, 2020, at approximately 12:03 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the Holts Summit area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located James Vaughn, 41, of Holts Summit, MO.  Vaughn was subsequently arrested for a Callaway County felony warrant for Fail to Register as a Sex Offender.  The warrant had been issued at the result of a Sheriff’s Office investigation.  Vaughn was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he later posted bond.

On November 25, 2020, at approximately 10:30 AM, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office — assisted by the Fulton Police Department and the MUSTANG drug task force — executed a drug search warrant at a residence on East 9th Street in Fulton.  The search warrant had been obtained as the result of an ongoing Sheriff’s Office drug investigation.  Subsequently, Laughlin McKinnen, 20, of Fulton, MO was arrested for the felony offenses of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.  McKinnen was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later released with summons for Court appearance.

On November 25, 2020, at approximately 2:01 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office was proactively patrolling the County Road 299 area.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy located Jade Breshears, 27, of Centralia, MO.  Breashears was wanted reference two Randolph County probation violation warrants (burglary charges).  Breshears was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail where she remains in-custody.

On November 26, 2020, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a stolen vehicle investigation in the area of County Road 410.  During the course of the investigation, Mary Ostrander, 27, of Fulton, MO was subsequently arrested for felony Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st.  Ostrander was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later released with summons for Court appearance.
