PROSECUTING ATTORNEY CHARGES AUXVASSE PAIR WITH BURGLARY AND ASSAULT AFTER SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATION

Arrested person information: 

John Metheny, 32, of Auxvasse

Ciera Conatser, 26, of Auxvasse

Narrative: 

On October 10, 2019, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged John Metheny, 32, and Ciera Conatser, 26, both of Auxvasse with the felony offenses of Burglary 1st and misdemeanor assault.  Conatser was further charged with the felony offense of Property Damage 1st.

Both were arrested by Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies in Auxvasse on October 9, 2019.  The arrests were the result of an ongoing criminal investigation as to a residential burglary and assault offense that occurred at a residence in Auxvasse on September 6, 2019.

Metheny and Conatser are both in-custody at the Callaway County Jail with bond amounts of $6,000 and $7,500 respectively.
