Two charged for Robbery near Auxvasse after being captured in Texas after vehicle pursuit

TWO CHARGED FOR ROBBERY NEAR AUXVASSE —- CAPTURED IN TEXAS AFTER VEHICLE CHASE

Arrested person information:  

Kristian Buegeler (Chudej), 33, of Mexico, MO

Nathaniel Terry, 26, of Mexico, MO

Narrative:

On December 31, 2019, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Kristian Buegeler, 33, and Nathaniel Terry, 26, both of Mexico, MO with the felony offense of Robbery. The charge was the result of an investigation conducted by Callaway County deputies in the Auxvasse area on November 4, 2019.

After the aforementioned charges were filed, deputies developed information that Buegeler and Terry had fled to the State of Texas in a vehicle that stolen from the Kingdom City, MO area on January 5, 2020.  Deputies made contact with Texas authorities and sought assistance in locating Buegeler and Terry.

On January 8, 2020, the stolen vehicle from Callaway County was spotted in Milam County, Texas.  Authorities there attempted to stop the vehicle and a pursuit, and later manhunt, ensued.  On January 9, 2020, both Buegeler and Terry were captured by Texas authorities.

On January 27, 2020, Callaway County deputies traveled to the State of Texas to take custody of Buegeler.  She was booked/processed into the Callaway County Jail during the late evening hours of January 28, 2020 and is being held without bond, pending later Court review.

In addition to the Robbery charge, Buegeler was booked/processed for outstanding Callaway County warrants for felony charges including Burglary, Forgery, Stealing, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

At the time of Buegeler’s arrest, she was under the supervision of the Missouri Department of Corrections – Board of Probation and Parole.

Terry – whom was an active MDOC parole violator – has been returned to the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections.
