On May 13, 2017 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Audrain County Deputies assisted the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office by arresting 35 year old Casey Jolly at an address in Audrain County regarding the commercial burglary in the 1400 block of Old Highway 40 that was reported earlier in the day. Custody of Jolly was transferred to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and he remains in custody on a bond of $5500 for charges of Burglary 2nd, Property Damage and Stealing.

On May 13, 2017 at approximately 8:43 a.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported burglary in progress at a commercial business in the 1400 block of Old Highway 40, near the Boone / Callaway County line. The owner of the business reported observing a male walking around the business with a crowbar. While Deputies were responding to the business it was learned that one of the suspects left in a vehicle.
Upon arrival of Deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers they encountered Robert Peak and Renea Hill who provided conflicting statements. It was learned that Peak and Hill arrived to the business in a vehicle and during a search of the vehicle stolen property from the business was recovered along with burglary tools. Also recovered was a large amount of methamphetamine and drug packaging.
Both Peak and Hill were released to the Callaway County Jail. Peak remains in custody on a bond of $14,000 for charges of Burglary 2nd, Property Damage , Stealing, Trafficking Drugs 2nd Degree, Possession of Burglary tools, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Hill subsequently posted a bond on a charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies have identified the third suspect that fled the scene in a separate vehicle and his name will not be released at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
