On July 4, 2016, deputies with the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 10600 block of State Road B (east of Auxvasse) for a residential alarm.  Upon arrival, deputies encountered Dara Lander and Timothy Bodimer on the property, actively removing items from the residence.  After speaking with the property owner, it was determined that Lander and Bodimer did not have permission to be on the property and were burglarizing the residence upon deputy arrival.

During the course of the investigation, stolen property was recovered from a vehicle that Bodimer and Lander had occupied.  Drug paraphernalia was also recovered from the vehicle.   Both were arrested at the scene.

On July 5, 2016, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney filed charges against Lander and Bodimer for Burglary 2nd, Felony Stealing, and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.  Bodimer posted a $15,000.00 bond and was released from the Callaway County Jail.  Lander remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail on a $15,000.00 bond.

A check of Case.net, a public resource, shows that both Bodimer and Lander have previous convictions for stealing and narcotics possession.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.

End of press release.
