Narrative: 

On February 26, 2020, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Jess Murrell, 26, of Fulton with the felony offenses of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st and Forgery.  Murrell remains in-custody at the Callaway County Jail on $10,000 bond.  The charges are the result of a criminal investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office concerning the theft of a vehicle on Silver Drive near Fulton.  Deputies subsequently located and recovered the vehicle on State Road NN near Fulton on February 25, 2020.  Deputies located Murrell at a residence in Fulton and arrested him.

On February 26, 2020, at approximately 8:54 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a fugitive investigation in the 6000 block of County Road 2002 north of Auxvasse.  During a search of a residence, deputies located Stacy Moore, 48, of Auxvasse hiding inside a residence closet.  Moore was a wanted fugitive in Callaway and Lincoln counties for respective felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth) and Child Neglect.  Moore is being held in the Callaway County Jail without a bond setting, pending later Court bond review.
