Russellville man arrested for two counts of felony child abuse

On July 11, 2017, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Tymothy Wolfe, 22, of Russellville with two counts of Felony Child Abuse.  Wolfe remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail pending the posting of $50,000.00 bond.  Wolfe was arrested by Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigators in Fulton on July 10, 2017 at 2:35 PM and then taken to the county jail.

The charges were brought forth as the result of a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigation that initiated in the Holts Summit area on June 27, 2017.  During the course of the investigation, it was determined the victim child had been allegedly abused on two separate occasions.  The child was subsequently transported to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Columbia where the child was treated and later released.

The State of Missouri Children’s Division assisted with the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming.  NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
