Proactive patrols and investigations lead to additional arrests between October 29 and November 5

PROACTIVE PATROLS AND INVESTIGATIONS LEAD TO ADDITONAL ARRESTS

Arrested person information:

Mindy Hess, 34, of Fulton, MO

David Wood, 48, of Holts Summit, MO

Martin Contreras, 29, of Holts Summit, MO

Christopher Robinson, 29, of Fulton, MO

Montie Stiers, 52, of New Bloomfield, MO

Narrative: 

On November 5, 2020, at 2:20 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 220.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  Mindy Hess, 34, of Fulton, MO was identified as a vehicle passenger.  Hess was found to have an active felony warrant issued by the Missouri Department of Corrections for parole violations.  Hess was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and remains in-custody.

On November 3, 2020, at 10:33 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the Holts Summit area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located David Wood, 48, of Holts Summit, MO.  Wood was wanted reference a felony Callaway County warrant for charges of Rape/Attempted Rape and Sodomy/Attempted Sodomy.  Wood was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and remains in-custody pending bond post.

On October 31, 2020, at 8:52 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a Halloween related sexual offender check at a residence near Holts Summit.  Upon the deputy checking the residence, it was found registered offender Martin Contreras, 29, of Holts Summit, MO had failed to comply with Halloween conditions of his offender registration.  Contreras was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later released after posting bond.

On October 30, 2020, at 11:54 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the Fulton area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Christopher Robinson, 29, of Fulton, MO.  Robinson was wanted reference a felony Callaway County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Robinson was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later released after posting bond.

On October 29, 2020, at 8:19 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 401.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy stopped Montie Stiers, 52, of New Bloomfield, MO for a traffic violation.  Methamphetamine was subsequently located in Stiers’ possession.  As the deputy attempted to take Stiers into custody, he attempted to flee from the deputy and a physical struggle ensued.  Fulton PD officers responded to assist, in addition to other deputies.  Stiers was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felony Resisting Arrest. Stiers later posted bond and was released.
