Proactive patrols and investigations lead to 10 additional felony arrests between November 13 and November 19

PROACTIVE PATROLS AND INVESTIGATIONS NET 10 MORE FELONY ARRESTS ACROSS THE COUNTY

Shannon Glasgow, 29, of Columbia, MO

Trevor Niederhelm, 22, of New Bloomfield, MO

Roger Pitts, 48, of Kingdom City, MO

Gregory Murphy, 33, of Jefferson City, MO

Narrative: 

On November 19, 2020, at approximately 9:14 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 2002 and County Road 245.  During the patrol, the deputy attempted to stop William Giboney, 37, of Fulton, MO for a traffic violation.  Giboney fled and led deputies on a vehicle chase.  While on County Road 245 near State Road FF, Giboney subsequently ran off the road and struck a telephone pole.  Giboney was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Giboney with Felony DWI, Felony Resisting Arrest, and other traffic offenses.  Giboney is being held without bond pending a Court bond setting.

On November 19, 2020, at approximately 11:36 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 269.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Christopher Abbott, 50, of Columbia, MO.  Abbott was wanted reference a State of Kansas felony warrant for dangerous drugs.  Abbott was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and remains in-custody pending extradition proceedings.

On November 18, 2020, at approximately 4:49 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 262 and County Road 261.  During the course of the investigation, a stolen vehicle was located.  Zachary Moore, 24, of Auxvasse, MO was arrested for Felony Tampering with a Motor Vehicle.  Moore was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and remains in-custody pending bond posting.

On November 17, 2020, at approximately 5:19 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of Lindbergh Boulevard.  During the course of the investigation, deputies recovered a stolen vehicle from Boone County.  As a result of the investigation, deputies subsequently arrested Jason Elam, 42, of Columbia, MO and Jason Pattillo, 45, of Columbia, MO for the Felony Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Burglar Tools.  Both were taken to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and released after posting bond.

On November 16, 2020, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Lewis Parrish, 35, of Mexico, MO for Felony Child Molestation 2nd.  Parrish had been charged by the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney following an extensive child sex abuse investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office.  Parrish was transported to the Callaway County Jail and remains in-custody pending a Court bond setting.

On November 16, 2020, at approximately 10:48 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the Kingdom City area.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle reference a traffic violation.  Shannon Glasgow, 29, of Columbia, MO was subsequently found to be possession of a felony controlled substance.  Glasgow was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processing for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and later released after posting bond.  At the time of his arrest, Glasgow was under the supervision of the Missouri Board of Probation and Parole.

On November 15, 2020, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Trevor Niederhelm, 22, of New Bloomfield, MO with the felony offenses of Burglary and Stealing.  The charges are the result of a residential burglary investigation conducted by Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies in the area of County Road 4036.  Niederhelm was arrested by deputies, transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released after posting bond.

On November 14, 2020, at approximately 1:44 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the Kingdom City area.  During the patrol, the deputy located Roger Pitts, 48, of Kingdom City, MO.  Pitts was wanted reference a felony Callaway County warrant for probation violation (original charge – Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance).  Pitts was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later released after Court action.

On November 13, 2020, at approximately 8:59 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the Branch Road area near Holts Summit.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Gregory Murphy, 33, of Jefferson City.  Murphy was wanted by the Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC) for state parole violations reference past felony offenses.  Murphy was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later transferred to the custody of MDOC.
