DEPUTIES ARREST NEW BLOOMFIELD MAN FOR FAILING TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER

Arrested person information:

Alan Tighe, 21, of New Bloomfield

Narrative:

On March 5, 2019, at approximately 9:30 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested Alan Tighe, 21, of New Bloomfield for failing to register as a sex offender.  Tighe was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released after posting a *court set* bond of $1,500.00.

The aforementioned arrest is the result of a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigation initiated in February, 2019, concerning Tighe — a registered sex offender — not registering with the Sheriff’s Office as required by state law.

According to Case.net, a public state court access point, Tighe has a pending charge in Callaway County for failing to register a sex offender based on a similar investigation conducted by the Sheriff’s Office in November, 2018.
