New Bloomfield female arrested for burglary charges

Narrative: 

On August 13, 2017, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Kayce McClure, 28, of New Bloomfield with Burglary 2nd (felony), Stealing, and Fraudulent Use of a Credit/Debit Device.  The charges were the result of a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigation conducted in New Bloomfield on July 20, 2017 involving the unlawful entry into, and subsequent theft from a residence.

In the days after taking the initial report, deputies followed-up on leads.  A Callaway County deputy located and arrested McClure in Fulton on August 12, 2017 at 10:15 a.m.  McClure was taken to the Callaway County Jail where she remains, pending the posting of $10,000.00 bond.

At the time of McClure’s arrest, she was also wanted in Boone County for Resisting Arrest, whereas she is also being held on a related Boone County warrant.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming.  NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
