Kingdom City man arrested after vehicle pursuit

Dustin Atterberry, 19, of Kingdom City


On August 23, 2017 at 1:09 p.m., a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was patrolling Old Highway 40 near State Road DD west of Kingdom City.  During the patrol, the deputy attempted to stop Dustin Atterberry, 19, of Kingdom City for traffic violations.

Atterberry failed to yield and a vehicle pursuit ensued.  Atteberry subsequently traveled various state and county roadways, before trying to evade capture by parking behind a residence on County Road 274 near Stephens.  Atterberry was located, arrested, and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Atterberry was booked for Driving While Revoked, Resisting Arrest, and other traffic offenses.

Atterberry was later posted bond and was released pending court appearance.
