Jefferson City man arrested for Felony Violation of a Protection Order

Michael Linker, 40, of Jefferson City

Narrative: 

On September 1, 2017 at 5:02 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported disturbance in the 3000 block of County Road 488 near Holts Summit.  Information provided to deputies indicated Michael Linker, 40, of Jefferson City was at the property causing a disturbance.  Linker was prohibited from being present on the property due to a valid court order of protection.

Upon the arrival of deputies, Linker was subsequently located and taken into custody for Felony Violation of a Protection Order – 2nd or subsequent offense.  At the time of Linker’s arrest, he was further wanted on a Callaway County warrant for Assault; court set bond amount – $25,000.00.

Linker was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains incarcerated for the afore mentioned offenses and warrant.
