Jefferson City man arrested for commercial burglary and property damage

Sandy Gallapsie, 57, of Jefferson City

On July 28, 2017, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Sandy Gallaspie, 57, of Jefferson City with Burglary 2nd (Felony), Stealing, and Property Damage. The charges were the result of a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigation concerning the burglary of a commercial business along County Road 4036 just outside of Jefferson City on July 11, 2017.

Following the initial July 11, 2017 investigation, Callaway County deputies were able to identify Gallaspie as the suspect. The Cole County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the follow-up investigation.

On August 2, 2017, Gallaspie turned himself into the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and was arrested. Gallaspie was transferred to the Callaway County Jail where he posted a court ordered $6,000.00 bond and was released pending court appearance.
