Investigations around Callaway County lead to 14 arrests between February 22 and February 26

SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATIONS, PROACTIVE PATROLS, AND DRUG ENFORCEMENT EFFORTS CONTINUE ACROSS THE COUNTY

Narrative:  

On February 22, 2021, at 9:51 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the 3000 block of Gold Road.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Christina Eoff, 34, of Mexico, MO.  Eoff was wanted reference a felony Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC) warrant for state parole violations.  Additionally, Eoff was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.  Eoff was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to the custody of MDOC.

On February 23, 2021, at 6:52 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies – assisted by the Fulton Police Department and MUSTANG drug task force – executed a drug search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of South Business 54, Fulton.  The warrant had been obtained as the result of an ongoing Sheriff’s Office drug investigation.  Methamphetamine, marijuana, and other felony level controlled substances were located.  Jordan Leuther, 21, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  Leuther was transported to the Callaway County Jail where she posted bond and was released pending Court appearance.  Carl Coffman, 26, of Auxvasse, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Coffman was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he posted bond and was released pending Court appearance.  Elizabeth Smith, 19, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Callaway County Jail where she remains in-custody.  Danny Hause, 39, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Hause was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was later released with summons for Court appearance.  Victoria Loyd, 22, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Callaway County Jail where she remains in-custody.  James Collins, 24, of Mexico, MO was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and released with summons for Court appearance. 

On February 24, 2021, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies – in conjunction with the Holts Summit Police Department, the Fulton Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway patrol – conducted investigations in the New Bloomfield and Fulton area.  During the course of the investigations, two stolen vehicles were recovered; stolen from New Bloomfield and St. Louis.  Christopher McCombs, 36, of Jefferson City, MO fled from officers on foot.  Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies spotted McCombs on foot in the area of West 7th Street in Fulton and arrested him.  McCombs was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he is being held without bond for felony Tampering and Resisting Arrest charges, in addition to numerous Cole County felony warrants. 

On February 24, 2021, at 11:52 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was patrolling the area of State Road F.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle reference an investigation.  With the assistance of Sheriff’s Office K9 Iro, methamphetamine was located in the vehicle.  Chasity Wyatt, 39, of New Bloomfield, MO was arrested for Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  Wyatt was transported to the Callaway County Jail where she later posted bond.  Christopher Hay, 32, of Eugene, MO was arrested for Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance, in addition to several felony Callaway and Cole county warrants.  Hay was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody.

On February 24, 2021, at 12:44 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 282.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Lena Vincent, 57, of Auxvasse, MO.  Vincent was wanted referenced a Boone County warrant for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Vincent was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to the custody of the Boone County Jail. 

On February 24, 2021, at 11:25 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was traveling South Business 54 in Fulton.  During this time, the deputy spotted Sonny Schuler, 43, of Steedman, MO.  Schuler was wanted reference a Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC) warrant for state probation violation (felony assault).  Schuler was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody.

On February 25, 2021, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the 3000 block of Gold Road.  During the course of the investigation, Stephen Doward, 20, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Stealing.  Doward was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and released with summons for Court appearance.

On February 26, 2021, at 8:09 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 344.  During the patrol, the deputy attempted to stop Johnny Beaston, 53, of Fulton, MO for a traffic violation.  Beaston fled and a vehicle pursuit ensued.  Beaston crashed the vehicle at the County Road 342 and County Road 351 intersection and fled on foot.  A near four hour manhunt ensued with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.  At 11:57 PM, a Callaway County deputy and a Missouri state trooper located Beaston hiding on a private property.  Beaston was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail for Felony Resisting Arrest and other charges.  Beaston remains in-custody without bond pending later Court bond review and setting.
