Fulton man arrested for weapon violation after deputies investigate disturbance involving a firearm

Thomas Schneider, 39, of Fulton

On December 1, 2017 at 4:57 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 5000 block of County Road 204 just west of Fulton for a reported disturbance in progress involving multiple subjects and firearms.  Deputies arrived at 5:04 p.m. and made contact with several individuals and initiated an investigation.  During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Thomas Schneider, 39, of Fulton had discharged a firearm during the disturbance.  Schneider has past felony convictions, thus for, he is prohibited from possessing a firearm.  Schneider was subsequently arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and booked / processed for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.  Schneider was placed on a court set bond of $4,500.00, which he later posted and was released pending court appearance.
