Fulton man arrested for narcotics possession after Kingdom City traffic stop

DEPUTIES MAKE NARCOTICS ARREST IN KINGDOM CITY

On November 24, 2017 at 2:42 a.m., a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was patrolling Jade Road near the Frontier Inn in Kingdom City. During the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle, for an equipment violation. Deputies made contact with one of the occupants Justin Atterberry, 18, of Fulton who was found to have an Audrain County traffic warrant for his arrest. Upon further investigation, Atterberry was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Atterberry was subsequently arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail. Atterberry remains in-custody for probable cause charges of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and the Audrain County traffic warrant. Atterberry is being held on a court set bond of $4,850.00.

Callaway County deputies continue work with other law enforcement agencies and community partners to curb drug abuse throughout the county, which so many times lead to other offenses such as burglary and stealing.
