Fulton man arrested for methamphetamine possession and weapons offense after investigation outside of Fulton

SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATION ON COUNTY ROAD 411 NETS ANOTHER METH ARREST

Douglas Schroer, 40, of Fulton

Narrative:

On May 18, 2019, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Douglas Schroer, 40, of Fulton with the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use of a Firearm. Schroer remains in-custody at the Callaway County Jail pending a $5,000 bond posting.

The charges are the result of a criminal investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office on May 17, 2019, at approximately 10:11 PM, in the 7000 block of County Road 411 south of Fulton. During the course of the investigation, deputies encountered Schroer whom possessed methamphetamine, while also in possession of a firearm.

Deputies arrested Schroer and transported him to the Callaway County Jail.
