Fulton fugitive arrested on probation violation warrant

SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATION LEADS TO WANTED PERSON OUT OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY

Arrested person:

Shaun Smith, 37, of Fulton

On February 27, 2018 at approximately 1:07 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigators were following-up on an investigation in the 7000 block of County Road 405 south of Fulton.  During the investigation, the investigators came into contact with Shaun Smith, 37, of Fulton.  It was determined that Smith was a wanted fugitive from St. Louis County – wanted for FELONY Probation Violation (nationwide extradition ordered).

Smith was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Smith is being held on a COURT SET bond of $1,000.00 cash only.  If bond is not posted, Smith will be transferred to the custody of the St. Louis authorities.
