Fulton female arrested after domestic disturbance involving a knife

Narrative: 

On May 12, 2017 at 8:56 a.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 6000 block of Laurlake Drive, west of Fulton, for a reported disturbance in progress involving weapons.  Deputies were advised a female, later identified as Stephanie Hope, 31, of Fulton, was actively threatening others on the property with a large knife.

Deputies arrived to the offense residence at 9:03 a.m. and encountered Hope in the residence yard.  Hope was taken into custody without incident.  Deputies interviewed numerous witnesses, along with the primary victim, at the scene.  The knife was recovered at the property.

Hope was subsequently transported to the Callaway County Jail and booked / processed for Felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Domestic Assault 4th.  Hope remains in custody, pending the posting of $2,500.00 bond.

The investigation is ongoing and NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
