Fulton female arrested after investigation reveals 8 pounds of high grade marijuana and felony controlled substance

SHERIFF’S OFFICE DRUG INVESTIGATION NETS NEARLY 8 LBS. OF HIGH-GRADE MARIJUANA AND RELATED FELONY CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES IN FULTON

Arrested person information:

Danasia Pittman, 23, of Fulton

Narrative:

On July 1, 2019, at approximately 12:01 PM, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office conducted an ongoing felony drug investigation in Fulton.  Subsequently, as part of the investigation, deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Old Jefferson City Road and Sign Painter Road.  During the course of the traffic stop, deputies recovered nearly eight (8) lbs. of high-grade marijuana and 200 additional devices containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – a felony controlled substance.  

Danasia Pittman, 23, of Fulton was arrested for Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  Pittman was taken to the Callaway County Jail where she was booked/processed. Pittman was later released pending Court appearance.

The investigation is ongoing and further arrests/charges are possible.  The United States Postal Inspection Service, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office K9 units, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol have assisted with the ongoing, extensive investigation.
