DRUG TAKE BACK EVENT TO BE HELD THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 29, 2017

This Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office will again team-up with the Callaway County Water District #2 and the Missouri Rural Water Association to host a drug take back event. The event will be held at the Callaway County Water District #2 Office located at 2610 Westminster Avenue in Fulton. The Sheriff’s Office has worked with these entities for several years, promoting community environmental and public safety.

All county residents are encouraged to drop-off any unneeded, unwanted, or expired prescription medications so they can be disposed of properly. This event is completely anonymous, whereas, no personal information is collected. The event aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medications.
