On November 24, 2017 at approximately 10:34 p.m., a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was patrolling County Road 269 near Stephens in northwest Callaway County near the Boone County line.  During the patrol, the deputy attempted to stop a truck for a speeding violation.
