DEPUTIES ARREST THREE FOR METHAMPHETAMINE WITHIN THREE HOURS

On April 7, 2018 at approximately 7:06 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were in the Kingdom City area assisting with a narcotics investigation. During the investigation, deputies came into contact with a vehicle occupied by Reece Strawn, 33, of Fulton and Ashee Heaston, 33, of Mexico. The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit responded to assist.
With the assistance of the K9 unit, methamphetamine and marijuana was located in the vehicle. Deputies arrested Strawn for FELONY Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession under 10 grams of Marijuana. Heaston was arrested for FELONY Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Strawn remains incarcerated at the Callaway County Jail on a COURT SET bond of $5,500.00. Heaston remains incarcerated without bond pending a court bond setting.
A few hours later, at approximately 9:46 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped a vehicle on State Road F near County Road 232 east of Millersburg for a traffic violation. During the course of the traffic stop investigation, the driver, Cecil Brandt, was found to have an active Callaway County warrant for Failure to Appear — original charge Driving While Suspended / Revoked. Brandt was also found to be in FELONY possession of methamphetamine and marijuana during the traffic stop.
Brandt was taken into custody and transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was found to have hidden narcotics, specifically methamphetamine and marijuana, on his person. Brandt was released to the Jail staff on a COURT SET bond of $15,000.00 for charges of FELONY Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession under 10 grams of Marijuana, two counts of FELONY Possession / Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Correctional Facility, Driving While Revoked / Suspended, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
