Deputies recover stolen vehicles outside of Holts Summit, arrest Holts Summit parolee for felony stealing

DEPUTIES RECOVER STOLEN VEHICLES NEAR HOLTS SUMMIT – ARREST FELON FOR PAROLE VIOLATIONS AND POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY

Arrested person information:

Joshua Temmen, 26, of Holts Summit

Narrative:

On October 7, 2018, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were conducting a follow-up investigation the 12000 block of County Road 4031 near Holts Summit.  The follow-up was part of an extensive ongoing investigation as to rural theft offenses in the Holts Summit area.  During the follow-up investigation on October 7, 2018, deputies subsequently located a stolen vehicle from Osage County.  Earlier, on October 1, 2018, deputies had recovered a stolen vehicle in the same area, which vehicle had been stolen in the city of Holts Summit.

As a result of the investigation, at 10:00 AM on October 7, 2018, Joshua Temmen, 26, of Holts Summit was arrested for Felony Stealing.  Due to the arrest, deputies contacted the Missouri Department of Corrections – Board of Probation and Parole whom has statutory parole supervision of Temmen.  Subsequently, the Department of Corrections issued a parole violation warrant for Temmen.

Temmen was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he is being held without bond for the aforementioned legal matters.
