Deputies make two unrelated felony drug arrests during Sunday patrols

CALLAWAY COUNTY DEPUTIES MAKE ADDITIONAL FELONY DRUG ARRESTS NEAR HATTON AND FULTON DURING SUNDAY PATROLS OF THE COUNTY

Arrested person information:

Michael Bray, 46, of Fulton

Brenda Cury, 62, of Popular Bluff

Narrative:

On December 30, 2018, at 10:45 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies, with the assistance of Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers, investigated a suspicious activity report in the area of County Road 231 and County Road 260 near Hatton.  During the course of the investigation, deputies and troopers came into contact with Michael Bray, 46, of Fulton.

Bray was subsequently found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.  Bray was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked/processed for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Bray later posted a *court set* bond of $4,500.00 and was released.

Later in the afternoon, at 3:36 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the area of County Road 305 near Fulton for a suspicious activity report.  During the course of the investigation, deputies came into contact with Brenda Curry, 46, of Popular Bluff.

Curry was subsequently found to be in possession of a controlled substance (schedule II pills), which she attempted to conceal upon her person during the deputy contact.  Curry was transported to the Callaway County Jail where she was booked/processed for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Willfully Disobeying a Law Enforcement Officer.  Curry later posted a *court set* bond of $5,000.00 and was released.
