METH, FIREARM, AND FUGITIVE ARRESTS MADE AS THE RESULT OF SHERIFF’S PROACTIVE PATROLS AND INVESTIGATIONS

On July 6, 2020, at approximately 1:57 PM, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office – assisted by the Holts Summit Police Department and the MUSTANG drug task force – executed a Callaway County drug search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Jefferson Road in Holts Summit. The warrant had been issued by the Court has the result of an ongoing Sheriff’s Office drug investigation. During the warrant execution; methamphetamine, marijuana, and other items were located. Timothy Morgan, 43, of Holts Summit, MO, and Amber McCormick, 31, of Ashland, MO were arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail. Both were booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth). Both later posted bond and were released pending Court appearance.
On July 4, 2020, at approximately 11:20 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a disturbance investigation in the 2000 block of County Road 228 near Millersburg. During the course of the investigation, deputies arrested Stephen Pace, 53, of Fulton, MO. Pace was found to be in possession of a firearm. Pace was subsequently charged by the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney with felony Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (felon in possession) in addition to other charges. Pace is being held in the Callaway County Jail without bond, per Judge’s Order pending further bond assessment/review.
On July 4, 2020, at approximately 6:11 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a suspicious activity investigation in the 1800 block of Old Highway 40 near the Boone County line. During the course of the investigation, deputies encountered Alisha Selvey, 31, of Columbia, MO. Selvey attempted to deceive deputies by providing a false identity. It was determined Selvey was wanted reference Howard County and Boone County warrants; respective felony property damage and stealing charges. Deputies further located methamphetamine during the course of the investigation. Selvey was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail where she was booking for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance in addition to the warrant. Selvey was later transferred to the custody of the Boone County Jail.
