Deputies kick off the first weekend of spring with 7 felony arrests after investigations around Callaway County

CALLAWAY COUNTY DEPUTIES KICK-OFF SRPING, 2019, WITH NUMEROUS FELONY ARRESTS FOR AN ARRAY OF OFFENSES ACROSS THE COUNTY (FRIDAY MORNING – SUNDAY NIGHT)

Anthony Baker, 21, of Steedman

Jordan Raps, 32, of Fulton

Dustin Clements, 29, of Holts Summit

Joseph Curry, 27, of Tebbetts

Charles Bentley, 55, of Fulton

Crystal Vaughn, 45, of Columbia

Maxine Oglesby, 33, of Fulton

Narrative:

On March 22, 2019, at 10:23 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies, in conjunction with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office – Cyber Crimes unit, arrested Anthony Baker, 21, of Steedman for Felony Possession of Child Pornography.  The arrest was the result of an investigation initiated by Boone County – Cyber Crimes investigators, and assisted by Callaway County deputies, at a residence on County Road 133 near Steedman.  Baker was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he later posted a court-set bond of $25,000.00.

On March 22, 2019, at 1:47 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jordan Raps, 32, of Fulton for Felony Domestic Assault 4th – 3rd or subsequent offense, Felony Domestic Assault 3rd, and Kidnapping 3rd.  The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Callaway County deputies in the area of State Road F and Windy Meadows Drive, west of Fulton.  Raps remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail without bond, per judge’s order

On March 23, 2019, at 12:14 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Dustin Clements, 29, of Holts Summit for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine , Felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Driving While Revoked, and a Jefferson City municipal warrant.  The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Callaway County deputies in the area of State Road AA near Holts Summit.  Clements remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail on a court-set bond of $8,080.00.

On March 23, 2019, at 1:50 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Joseph Curry, 27, of Tebbetts for Felony Domestic Assault, Felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon (two counts), and Property Damage.  The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Callaway County deputies in the area of State Road AA near Holts Summit in which shot(s) were fired.  Curry remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail without bond, per judge’s order.

On March 23, 2019, at 8:01 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Charles Bentley, 55, of Fulton reference a Felony Callaway County failure to appear warrant – original charge of Domestic Assault 2nd.  The arrest occurred after deputies searched a residence in the 3000 block of Hilltop Drive north of Fulton.  Bentley was located inside the residence.  Bentley remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail on a court-set bond of $20,000.00 cash only.

On March 25, 2019, at 12:25 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Crystal Vaughn, 45, of Columbia and Maxine Oglesby, 33, of Fulton for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  The arrests were the result of an investigation conducted by Callaway County deputies in the area of State Road WW near County Road 259 west of Millersburg, adjacent to the Boone County line.  Vaughn remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail pending a court set bond of $9,000.00.  Oglesby posted a court-set bond of $4,500.00 and was released.

In addition to the felony arrests outlined in this release, Callaway County deputies made numerous other arrests for misdemeanor offenses including, but not limited to: stealing, drug possession, drug paraphernalia, and driving while intoxicated.
