Deputies, assisted by K9 Iro, arrest Moniteau County man for methamphetamine delivery after traffic stop in southern Callaway County

CALLAWAY DEPUTIES – ASSISTED BY SHERIFF’S K9 UNIT – ARREST MONITEAU COUNTY MAN FOR DELIVERY OF METH IN SOUTHERN CALLAWAY COUNTY

Arrested person information:

Donald Wolverton, 55, of California, MO

Narrative:

On May 15, 2019, at approximately 2:29 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation on State Highway 94 near Cooper Drive in southern Callaway County.  The Sheriff’s Office K9 unit assisted with the investigation.  Subsequently, K9 Iro alerted on the suspect vehicle leading to the discovery of methamphetamine.

Donald Wolverton, 55, of California, MO was arrested by Callaway County deputies for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Meth).  Wolverton was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he later posted a $6,500 bond and was released pending Court appearance.
