Deputies, assisted by Fulton PD and MSHP, arrest wanted fugitive after he attempts to flee residence

TEAMWORK LEADS TO ARREST OF WANTED FELON AS HE ATTEMPTS TO FLEE RESIDENCE

Arrested person information:

David Young, 46, of Fulton

Narrative:

On April 30, 2019, at approximately 1:19 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies – assisted by Fulton Police Department officers and Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers – conducted a wanted person investigation in the 5000 block of Oak Lane, adjacent to State Road NN, just south of Fulton.

During the investigation, David Young, 46, of Fulton attempted to flee from a residence on foot.  Young was quickly apprehended by law enforcement officers.  Young was wanted reference a $35,000.00 (bond) Callaway County felony warrant for numerous weapon and drug offenses.

Young was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody pending bond posting.
