Deputies arrest Mexico fugitive on warrants and methamphetamine possession, arrest Mexico resident for failure to identify as a witness and drug paraphernalia

MEXICO RESIDENTS ARRESTED FOR FELONY WARRANTS AND DRUG CHARGES NEAR MILLESBURG

Arrested person information:

Austin Cash, 20, of Mexico, MO

Tamijah Williams, 20, of Mexico, MO

Narrative: 

On July 29, 2018, at approximately 8:58 a.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived to a residence in the 2000 block of County Road 334 near Millersburg in attempt to follow-up on criminal investigations and locate Austin Cash, a wanted fugitive in Audrain and Boone counties.

Deputies subsequently located Cash and took him into custody.  Cash was wanted for several felony warrants in Audrain and Boone counties; charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Stealing, Receiving Stolen Property, and Probation Violation – original charge of Burglary.  The warrants ordered a court-set bond of $35,000.00 (cash only).  Cash was further found to be in possession of a felony controlled substance, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Cash was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to the custody of the Audrain County Jail.

During the investigation, a second person, Tamijah Williams was also arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Refusal to Identify as a Witness.  Williams was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later released on bond pending court appearance.
