Deputies arrest Williamsburg man for methamphetamine and firearm violations after early morning traffic stop near Calwood

PROACTIVE RURAL AREA PATROLS NET ARREST FOR METH DELIVERY IN CALWOOD

Austin Lomas, 21, of Williamsburg

On October 5, 2019, at approximately 3:59 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of State Road Z and State Road JJ in Calwood.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  During the course of the traffic stop investigation; Austin Lomas, 21, of Williamsburg was identified as a vehicle occupant.

Lomas was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, a firearm, and drug paraphernalia related to the sale of drugs.  Lomas was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail for probable cause offenses of Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Lomas is being held in the jail without bond, pending Court review and bond setting.
