Deputies arrest wanted Williamsburg felon after early morning investigation outside of Williamsburg

DEPUTIES CAPTURE WANTED FELON DURING RURAL AREA INVESTIGATION NEAR WILLIAMSBURG

Arrested person information:

David Atterberry, 51, of Williamsburg

Narrative:

On October 7, 2019, at approximately 4:50 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a wanted fugitive investigation in the 9000 block of County Road 138 near Williamsburg.  Deputies had been seeking David Atterberry, 51, of Williamsburg for Callaway and Montgomery County warrants reference numerous felony charges including Receiving Stolen Property, Property Damage, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

During the course of the investigation, deputies subsequently located Atterberry inside a local residence.  Atterberry was taken into custody and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Atterberry remains incarcerated pending bonds of – Callaway County, $10,000, and Montgomery County, $5,000 cash only.
