Deputies arrest wanted Tebbetts fugitive during early Christmas morning investigation

SHERIFF’S OFFICE CHRISTMAS MORNING INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN FUGITIVE ARREST IN TEBBETTS

Arrested person information:

Michael Sellers, 59, of Tebbetts

Narrative: 

On Christmas morning, December 25, 2018, at approximately 3:46 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a wanted person investigation in the 5000 block of County Road 4011 in Tebbetts.

Deputies had been seeking Michael Sellers, 59, of Tebbetts – a wanted fugitive in Miller County, MO.  On October 31, 2018, the Miller County Court had issued a felony warrant for Sellers’ arrest – charge of DWI Aggravated Offender.

Upon deputies searching the County Road 4011 residence, Sellers was found hiding inside the residence.  Sellers was taken into custody and transported to the Callaway County Jail where he is being held without bond, per the Miller County warrant.  Sellers will be transferred to the custody of the Miller County Sheriff’s Office for court proceedings there.
