Deputies arrest wanted parole absconder after follow-up investigation inside Fulton

DEPUTIES ARREST WANTED PAROLE VIOLATOR NEAR FULTON

Arrested person information:

Jerry Sharp, 44, of Warsaw

 

Narrative:

On August 3, 2018, at 5:28 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies were conducting a follow-up investigation in the 1300 block of West 7th Street near Fulton.  During the course of the investigation, deputies came into contact with Jerry Sharp, 44, of Warsaw.  It was determined that Sharp was wanted by the Missouri Department of Corrections for a felony parole violation.  Sharp was also wanted in Pettis County for Felony Non-Support.  Both warrants provided for nationwide extradition, whereas, the MDOC warrant ordered Sharp held without bond and returned to the custody of MDOC.

Sharp was transported to the Callaway County Jail and will be transferred to the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections.
