Deputies arrest wanted fugitives in Fulton and outside of Holts Summit

DEPUTIES ARREST WANTED FUGITIVES IN FULTON AND NEAR HOLTS SUMMIT; ONE FOR FEDERAL DRUG CHARGE

Arrested person information:

James Garrett, 31, of Fulton

David Latham, 43, of Holts Summit

Narrative: 

On May 14, 2018 at 11:16 a.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies located James Garrett, 31, of Fulton at a residence in the 300 block of Northwest Street in Fulton.  Deputies had been seeking Garrett who’d been indicted by the federal courts for a federal drug offense.  Garrett was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Garrett was later transferred to the custody of federal authorities.

On May 14, 2018 at 4:14 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies located David Latham, 41, of Holts Summit at a residence in the 2500 block of Jazel Lane near Holts Summit.  Deputies had been seeking Latham who was a wanted fugitive out of Cole County.  Latham was wanted for the felony offenses of Forgery, Assault, and Resisting Arrest.  Latham was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Latham was later transferred to the custody of Cole County authorities.
