Deputies arrest three for felony charges in 15 hours, two for separate methamphetamine possession investigations

SHERIFF’S OFFICE CONTINUES TO MAKE FELONY DRUG AND THEFT RELATED ARRESTS ACROSS THE COUNTY

Matthew White, 27, of Fulton

Dale Dobbins, 63, Fulton

Vivien Peters, 44, of Fulton

Narrative:

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office continues to conduct proactive patrols and criminal investigations across the county in an effort to combat criminal activity.

During a 15 hour period spanning February 4, 2019 into February 5, 2019, Callaway County deputies made three additional felony arrests.

On February 4, 2019, at 11:54 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on Log Cabin Road near State Road HH, just outside of Fulton, reference an ongoing criminal investigation.  During the course of the traffic stop, deputies came into contact with Matthew White, 27, of Fulton.  White was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was arrested.  White was also arrested for four counts of Felony Stealing regarding an ongoing criminal investigation concerning a theft in the Steedman area.   White remains incarcerated in the Callaway County Jail on a *court set* bond of $24,000.00.

On February 4, 2019, at 6:15 PM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a criminal investigation in the 1400 block of Old Highway 40 near Stephens.  During the course of the investigation, deputies came into contact with Dale Dobbins, 63, of Fulton.  Dobbins was found to be wanted person in Taney County, MO for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth).  Dobbins was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  Dobbins later posted a Taney County *court set* bond of $10,000.00 and was released.

On February 5, 2019, at 2:00 AM, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit was patrolling State Road F.  During the course of the proactive patrol, Vivien Peters, 44, of Fulton was stopped for a traffic violation.  Peters was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Peters was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.   Peters was booked/processed for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Peters is behind held without bond pending a court bond setting.
