Deputies arrest seven during proactive patrols and investigations

PROACTIVE DEPUTY PATROLS AND INVESTIGATIONS CONTINUE ACROSS THE COUNTY

Keith Buschman, 42, of Holts Summit, MO

Narrative:  

On March 19, 2021, at 9:01 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 230.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy attempted to stop Nathan Henry, 42, of Columbia, MO for a traffic violation.  Henry fled and a lengthy vehicle pursuit ensued, traveling numerous secondary roadways in the Millersburg, Guthrie, and New Bloomfield area.  Henry was stopped upon deputies deploying tire deflation devices on State Road J near Guthrie.  Henry was a wanted fugitive; precisely reference a federal U.S. Marshal’s warrant for Probation Violation (original charge – methamphetamine possession) and a Cole County warrant for Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  Henry was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in-custody without bond. 

On March 19, 2021, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation in the Holts Summit area.  During the course of the investigation, Carl Johnson, 55, of Holts Summit, MO was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Johnson with Felony Invasion of Privacy.  Johnson remains in-custody without bond, pending Court bond review and setting. 

On March 17, 2021, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated a disturbance involving a weapon in the Auxvasse area.  During the course of the investigation, Parker Ellis, 21, of Auxvasse, MO was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Ellis with Felony Property Damage 1st, in addition to Resisting Arrest and Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer.  Ellis later posted bond and was released pending Court appearance. 

On March 17, 2021, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies followed-up on an investigation in the Portland area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies arrested William Wilson, 44, of Portland, MO for Fail to Register as a Sex Offender, Burglary, and Stealing.  Wilson was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

On March 16, 2021, at 6:39 AM, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a Callaway County drug search warrant at a residence in the Fulton area.   The warrant had been obtained as the result of an ongoing Sheriff’s Office drug investigation.  Methamphetamine was subsequently located.  David Young, 47, of Fulton, MO was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.  The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Young with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Young was later transferred to the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections for state parole violations.  Darrell Sanders, 32, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Sanders was transported to the Callaway County Jail, booked/processed, and later released after posting bond.  

On March 15, 2021, at 4:32 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted an investigation in the Holts Summit area.  During the course of the investigation, the deputy located Keith Buschman, 42, of Holts Summit, MO.  Buschman was wanted referenced a Cole County warrant for Felony Harassment.  Buschman was arrested, transported to the Callaway County Jail, and later released after posting bond.
