Deputies arrest Poplar Bluff man after stolen vehicle investigation near Hams Prairie

POPLAR BLUFF MAN ARRESTED AFTER STOLEN VEHICLE INVESTIGATION IN HAMS PRAIRIE

Arrested person information:

Cody Jackson, 31, of Poplar Bluff, MO

Narrative:

On August 30, 2019, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Cody Jackson, 31, of Poplar Bluff, MO with the felony offenses of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st and Driving While Suspended/Revoked.  Jackson was further charged with a misdemeanor assault offense.  Jackson is being held in the Callaway County Jail without bond, pending a Court bond review.

The aforementioned charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office in the Hams Prairie area on August 29, 2019.  During the course of the investigations, deputies recovered a vehicle stolen from Carter County in southern Missouri.
