Deputies arrest O’Fallon man for methamphetamine possession during Williamsburg patrol

On March 10, 2018 at 4:59 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy was patrolling the Williamsburg area.  During the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle near Jade Road and State Road YY, near the Montgomery County line, for a traffic violation.

During a roadside investigation, methamphetamine was located in the vehicle.  Subsequently, a vehicle passenger, James Ross, 42, of O’Fallon was arrested for FELONY Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.

Ross was transported to the Callaway County Jail and held on a COURT SET bond of $5,000.00.  Ross later posted the bond and was released pending court appearance.
