Deputies arrest New Bloomfield fugitive, also arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and unlawful possession of a firearm

DEPUTIES LOCATE WANTED NEW BLOOMFIELD MAN – ARREST MADE FOR FELONY WARRANT, FAIL TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER, AND FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM

Alan Tighe, 21, of New Bloomfield

Narrative:

On November 3, 2018 at 12:56 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputy spotted Alan Tighe, 21, of New Bloomfield operating a motor vehicle on North Business 54 in Fulton. The deputy was knowledgeable of a felony Callaway County warrant for Tighe’s arrest (charge – Felony Receiving Stolen Property). The deputy was further aware that Tighe, a registered sex offender, had failed to verify his sex offender registration with the Sheriff’s Office as required by law.

The deputy subsequently conducted a traffic stop near St. Eunice Road and took Tighe into custody. At the time of arrest, the deputy found that Tighe (convicted felon) was in possession of a loaded rifle.

Tighe was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked processed for the felony warrant, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Fail to Register as a Sex Offender, in addition to several City of New Bloomfield municipal traffic warrants. Tighe is being held on a *court set* bond of $14,350.00.
